What colors work best with fall sessions so you don't blend in?

What colors work best with fall sessions so you don't just blend in the leaves and the background? Great question. You definitely don't want to be camouflaged in the leaves, but you also don't want to stand out too much either. Here are some tips for what you should wear in fall sessions.

1. Denim, Denim, Denim

This is the EASIEST thing you can do to not blend in. Jeans, denim jackets, jean skirts. These are easy to add to your wardrobe even after photos. You can easily put these with almost any color as well.

2. Neutrals

Tans, ivory, and beige. These will help you stand out from the background.

3. Plaid

It's already your fall go-to, why not make it into your photos? Don't all go get the same kind or color, but play off of one another. Have one person in the plaid and then another wear pieces with those colors in it.

4. Earth Tones

This means your browns and maroons. These two colors together also go really well.

5. Combo Colors

Here is a list of good ones for fall.

  • Brown & Maroon
  • Denim, Yellow, & Red
  • Burnt Orange & Red
  • Denim & Tan
  • Tan & Blush
  • Crimson & Navy
  • Gold & Navy
  • Ivory & Beige
  • Burnt Orange & Goldenrod
  • Teal & Burgandy
